WHAT A RIPPER!

Our best result yet! Ecstatic that together we raised $16,000 for Kiwi Kids in need. Thank you to everyone who supported the weekend.

This year we truly did see it all. From Slim Shady rapping, cooked cray fish, tinned tuna and flying fish, to the latest in homemade lines from the Notorious Jane crew with their stringline 5000.  The creativity was brilliant, and the competitiveness gets bigger every year.

A heartfelt thank you to our participants and supporters on the day, and to our our very generous sponsors - YOU, are what makes this day so special.

Looking forward to 2025.

WE'RE BACK BABY!

A pretty good result for the first comp post Covid we reckon. Add in a little drama with floods and roads collapsing causing a rain date, but all came good and we hit the water albeit a month late.

It seems 2023 is the year that participants really started to get the spirit of this event. The fish entries were creative, the skulduggery hilarious and competitiveness next level. It sure makes weigh-in an entertaining experience to watch.

Thank you to everyone who comes along to support our event. Sponsors, participants, observers and volunteers - YOU, are what makes this day so special.

Can't wait to see you and your antics in 2024.
